Nuclear Energy plants in India.

India can not be compared with other countries as regards to it's population density and geographical conditions. We have seen nuclear related disasters at Windscale (Great Britain) in 1957, at kystym of Russia in 1957, in U.S. in 1979 at Tokimora of japan in 1999, at Chernobyl of Russia in 1986 and at Fukushima Daiichi in March 2011.The post disaster scenario have always been full of horror. After eight months of the disaster the Fukhushima Daiichi plant could be photographed from safe distance and the authorities say the clean up measure would take more than thirty years of time and would decades for human habitations in the nearby area. One can not imagine the loss of life and properties if the plant would have been in India. That is what the villagers at kudan Kullam and the activists of PMANE are putting fourth. Unfortunately some so called scientist like K. Periasamy has circulated a paper in seminar on "Need Of  Nuclear Power and Safety norms" organized by the CII southern reason has ventured to speak"Do you think a News paper reporter holding a B.A. Literature or B.A. History Degree knows and care more than a nuclear Engineer ?" and another former AEC Chairman Sri M.R. Srinivasan has come down heavily on the environmentalists saying "They think themselves as super patriots while terming the project builders as Criminals."
I don't want to know the qualifications of those two persons as their comments are not based on science but having the bad smell of politics. As a News reporter i am provoking them to go through the after maths of Industrial Disasters of Fukushima Daiichi, Disaster due to a chemical leak at Seveso of Italy where more than one lakh people in seven k.m. radius of the plant were evacuated 3000 human beings maimed over 23300  house hold animals died and to add more horror after 20 years of occurrence, the affected place within seven k.m. radius has not yet been found suitable for human habitations and cultivation. i.e. worth to mentioned Bhopal gas disaster of December 1984 where the actual casualties are not legally established. As commonly told 8000 people were killed , 50000 people were injured due to  liberation of Lethal gas which was actually not stored in the Union Carbide factory but was a product of reaction of a chemical leaked from the storage tank when mixed with water. The list can be too long to be described here.
Does they have any answer based on science they read ? So don't under estimate the journalists and refrain them selves from such loose talks. they should not venture to mix science with politics.
